Easy Kpop Songs to Play on Violin

I have always loved singing and listening to Disney songs that I decided to learn some to play on my violin. It took me a while to find some simple yet fun songs so I decided to compile a list to share with you all!

What easy Disney songs can I play on my violin?

Below, you will find a list of 15 Disney songs that are easy to learn on the violin. If you are a beginner, this would be a great list for you to look at.

  • Beauty and the Beast

This song is an all-time classic. Belle was a strong, independent, and thoughtful girl who helped the struggling prince find love again. This song is slow which makes it an easy to learn long. Below I have attached link as to where you can find sheet music for this song and a recording of it.

This song is also great because it is easy to learn due to its slow pace and simple notes. You can just picture Aurora and the Prince swaying around the room gracefully. With these songs, you have to use long slow bow strokes across the violin.

  • Yo Ho (A Pirate's Life For Me)

'A Pirate's Life For Me' is a little bit more upbeat of a song and with a faster rhythm. In the video I have attached below, there is a group of three violinists and a cellist. They play this song fairly fast rate. When just learning to play the song, I would suggest starting out slow.

This is song is from the Disney Movie Pirates of the Carribean.

I absolutely love this song! It brings me to tears every time I listen to it. It is filled with so much emotion.

Repunzel, the princess in the tower, is just starting to realize that her whole life has been built upon a lie. She feels so enlightened about finally knowing the truth. Eugene, the thief, begins to realize that he has something better to live for.

Alan Menken, the composer, did an amazing job with this song. This song sounds so magical and full of energy.

This song is mostly played in Mezzo Forte, which is medium loud. A majority of the notes played are called eighth notes. There are a few rests in this song so be watchful of them when you are playing.

The songs in Frozen have become such a hit with the viewers. I used to hear kids singing that song wherever I would go. Most of the Frozen songs have a catchy tune and lyrics that are easy to remember.

In this song, Elsa, the older sister, has left her family and is starting to realize how much power she possesses. Elsa is happy living alone where she cannot hurt anyone.

The sheet music that I have found for this song would be helpful for a beginner. The notes are clearly marked and the music is in a simple form. If you have someone accompanying you while playing, this song already has the keys written above the notes and tells when to change keys.

This song is supposed to be played slowly. There are some sixteenth notes in this song, but they are played slower than you would normally play them.

Hercules is singing about his goal of working toward doing something important with his life.

Ariel, the mermaid, is adventurous and wants to explore other parts of the world that she has only heard about in stories. In this song, she sings about what it would be like if she could have feet and walk on land. She is not content to be King Triton's daughter and wants to do something more with her life.

With this song, there is a little bit of a faster pace. Start out slow when learning the song. Keep at a slow pace until you are able to play all the way through the song. Then you can build the speed up a little bit at a time.

One interesting fact that I did not know about this song is that Elton John composed it. It is a very upbeat song like some of Elton John's other songs.

Watch out for the flat notes in the music. This song is in the key C major, but there are several notes that are marked with a flat symbol. There are also a few notes marked with a sharp. In addition, keep an eye out for where the rests are located in the music.
